<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control system, a power control method, and a power control program that can actuate a plurality of servers as early as possible without stopping electric power supply by a battery halfway during the actuation of the servers. <P>SOLUTION: A power control system includes a power supply unit which supply electric power to a load, a battery, control means and storage means. When the electric power supplied from the power supply unit becomes deficient, the battery supplies electric power for making up for the deficiency to the load. The storage means stores power consumption characteristic information as information representing power consumption characteristics of the load.
