PURPOSE: An image display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent light leaks due to a spacer by adjusting the arrangement of the spacer in a barrier cell. CONSTITUTION: An image display device includes a display panel(110) and a barrier cell(120). The display panel displays an image. The barrier cell blocks or transmits an image emitted from the display panel. A pattern spacer to maintain cell gap of the barrier cell is arranged to correspond to a white region of the barrier cell transmitting the image emitted from the display panel.
