Provided is a method for performing channel sounding in a wireless LAN system. The method includes: receiving a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame for notifying the transmission of a null data packet (NDP) from an access point (AP); receiving the NDP from the AP; generating channel state information on the basis of the NDP; and transmitting a feedback frame including the channel state information to the AP. The NDPA frame, the NDP, and the feedback frame are transmitted through a 1MHz channel of at most 1GHz frequency band. The channel state information is the information for the 1MHz channel.
