The present invention is provided with: a moving image playback unit (1005) for playing back content having a plurality of scenes; an object appearance situation identification unit (1006) which, by analyzing metadata which includes appearance scene data for identifying an object appearing in each scene, identifies, for each of the plurality of scenes, an object appearance situation which indicates whether or not each of the objects that appear in a content unit appear in or subsequent to the scene; and a display unit (1008) which presents an object appearance situation which has been identified for a scene being played back when the moving image playback unit (1005) is playing back the content unit.
