The hybrid vehicle (10) of one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: an internal combustion engine (20) provided with an in-cylinder fuel injection valve (23) and a crank ventilation system (29); an electric motor (second motor generator (MG2)); a power transmission mechanism (30, 50) that links the engine (20) and drive shaft (53) of the vehicle in a manner so as to able to transmit torque, and links the electric motor (MG2) and the drive shaft (53) in a manner so as to be able to transmit torque; and control devices (70, 73, and the like). The control devices cause torque equivalent to a user-requested torque to act on the drive shaft by means of controlling the output torque of the electric motor and the output torque of the engine. Furthermore, the control devices start the engine when engine starting conditions are satisfied and stop the running of the engine when engine stopping conditions are satisfied including the condition that "the cooling water temperature of the engine (20) is at least an intermittently permissible water temperature". Additionally, the control devices estimate the "amount of fuel admixture, which is the amount of fuel admixed in the lubricating oil of the engine", and are configured in a manner so as to increase the intermittently permissible water temperature the higher the amount of fuel admixture. |
