There are provided a method and apparatus in which UE controls In-Device Coexistence (IDC) interference in a wireless communication system. The present invention includes transmitting UE capability information whether the UE has a capability to control IDC, to a base station (BS), receiving IDC indication configuration information whether the IDC is on-going, from the BS and transmitting a measurement result in consideration of IDC or a measurement result without consideration of IDC and IDC indication based on the IDC indication configuration information to the BS. In accordance with the present invention, UE can send information related to IDC interference to an eNB.
