PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for treating abnormal mucosa in an alimentary tract.SOLUTION: An ablating device 100 includes an ablation structure 101 configured to be removably coupled to an endoscope 111 and a deflection mechanism adapted to move the ablation structure 101 with respect to the endoscope 111 and toward a tissue surface. When an inflation member 105 is sufficiently inflated, the resulting expanded profile of the inflation member 105, which contacts the tissue surface 3, results in contact by deflection between the tissue surface of an inner wall of an esophagus and the ablation structure 100. |
