PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater that performs fall-in hot water filling while taking a heat dissipation loss into consideration.SOLUTION: A storage type water heater comprises: a water feed pipe 7 which communicates with the bottom of a hot water storage tank 2 and feeds water; a mixing valve 10 which mixes high-temperature water from a hot water feed-out pipe 8 and low-temperature water from a water feed bypass pipe 9 branched from the water feed pipe 7; a hot water feed pipe 11 which feeds the mixed hot water mixed by the mixing valve 10 from a tap 12 of a terminal, and makes the mixed hot water directly fall into a bath tub 13 to fill the bath tub; a hot water temperature sensor 14 for detecting a hot water temperature; a hot water flow sensor 15 for counting a hot water feed quantity; and a hot water storage control means 17 which controls the mixing valve 10 so as to reach a target set temperature which is set at the fall-in hot water filling to the bath tub 13, and notifies a stop of the hot water filling when the hot water quantity reaches a target hot water filling quantity. After performing corrective hot water filling for filling hot water so that the target set temperature becomes high and a prescribed quantity becomes large as an outside air temperature detected by an outside air temperature sensor 30 for detecting an outside air temperature becomes low, the hot water storage control means 17 returns again the hot water filling to original hot water filling at the target set temperature. |
