LIQUID CRYSTAL LENS

摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal lens is provided to appreciate a stereoscopic image without glasses in the state showing optical anisotropy if it is applied to a display device capable of producing a flat image and the stereoscopic image and to appreciate the flat image in the state showing optical isotropy. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal lens comprises a lens layer (100). The lens layer comprises a cholesteric orientation area. The cholesteric orientation area comprises a cholesteric oriented liquid crystal molecule. The cholesteric orientation area is a homeotropic orientation area and the lens layer has a focal distance of 0.1 mm to 10 cm.
