PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor which is excellent in an electric characteristic by suppressing an increase in contact resistance between a metal electrode and an electrode formed on the metal electrode.SOLUTION: According to this invention, a biosensor is provided, including a first substrate, a first electrode layer provided on a first surface of the first substrate, a second electrode layer provided on the first surface of the first substrate so as to cover at least a portion of the first electrode layer, and a reaction part provided so as to be located at an upper layer over the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer. Oxidation-reduction potential of the second electrode layer is smaller than oxidation-reduction potential of the first electrode layer, and the second electrode layer includes metal of 0.8 V or below. |
