Provided is an anthocyanin-containing composition which enhances the bioabsorbability of anthocyanins, which have low bioavailability, causes anthocyanins to be more effectively absorbed in vivo, and enhances absorption of anthocyanins into the body in order to give rise to adequate bioactivity with a smaller dosage of anthocyanins. An anthocyanin absorption-promoting composition obtained by mixing both an anthocyanin-containing material, and a C14 or higher unsaturated fatty acid or at least one type of edible oil containing the unsaturated fatty acid, wherein the C14 or higher unsaturated fatty acid is selected from myristoleic acid, palmitoleic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, and docosahexaenoic acid, and the edible oil is selected from rice germ oil, linseed oil, perilla oil, and fish oil. |
