PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel support device of a vehicle, capable of starting deceleration control at a proper timing, without reducing drivability.SOLUTION: A collision avoiding ECU sets target relative deceleration Af to a first target value Af1 when a braking control start condition is satisfied, and executes first braking control for bringing relative deceleration Gr close to the target relative deceleration Af. When reference relative deceleration Asub based on the relative deceleration at a first timing t11 reaches specified relative deceleration Ath, the collision avoiding ECU determines a second target value to a larger value than when a deceleration variation is large when the deceleration variation which is an amount of change in reference relative deceleration at that time is small. The collision avoiding ECU sets the target relative deceleration Af at a second target value, and executes second braking control for bringing the relative deceleration Gr close to the target relative deceleration Af. |
