PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas temperature estimation device capable of estimating an intake gas temperature at a time of a bottom dead center using a generalized estimation formula.SOLUTION: A gas temperature estimation device estimates an intake gas temperature at a time of a bottom dead center by adding a temperature Tiin, an intake gas to be inducted into a cylinder, and a heat reception amount Qa, heat that intake gas in the cylinder to receive from a piston. More specifically, considering that a heat receiving amount Qa, heat received from a piston, correlates with an oil temperature Toil, an intake gas temperature at a time of a bottom dead center, is estimated by estimating the heat reception amount Qa from an oil temperature Toil of an internal combustion engine, and by adding the heat reception amount Qa and an intake gas temperature Tiin. As mentioned, an estimation formula for estimating an intake gas temperature at a time of a bottom dead center can be easily generalized, by using the heat reception amount Qa, heat which intake gas receives from a piston in a cylinder, as a parameter. |
