PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly grasp a state of temperature rise inside an image forming apparatus to suppress drive of a cooling fan to the minimum, and thereby to provide an image forming apparatus having an excellent silent property and energy-saving property at a low cost.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a cooling fan 16 that cools inside the image forming apparatus; charging means, developing means, and transfer means, any one of which having a roller member made of an ion-conductive rubber material; and control means 14 for calculating the amount of change in resistance value of the roller member, and controlling drive of the cooling fan 16 according to the calculated amount of change in resistance value. |
