PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for preventing failure to correct false recognition of similar characters included in character data representing characters written on a business form.SOLUTION: Characters whose shapes are similar are defined as similar characters in advance, and on the basis of the information of the number of the similar characters among characters included in the character data of a business form, an operator in charge of the business form is determined, and allowed to perform an operation of correcting or confirming the character data of the business form with respect to the character recognition result of the business form.
