The present invention relates to a high water content waste sorting device for improving heating amount of solidified fuel, and the objective thereof is to allow a continuous operation by preventing a clogging phenomenon in a sorting member during waste separation and to reduce the amount of landfill. The sorting device includes a waste separation unit that is supplied with waste which is discharged from a sorting unit and is configured to be capable of introducing and discharging the waste with a particle size of 90 mm or less through a transport conveyor; a power transmission means that is disposed on one side of the waste separation unit and is configured to be capable of an alternating and repeated movement in an upper portion and a lower portion in directions facing each other; a screen for the separation unit with both ends respectively fixed to, overlapped on, and unfolded from an upper inner side surface of the waste separation unit so that the waste with a particle size of 30 mm or less can be discharged downward without being stuck during the transport of the waste and the waste with a particle size of at least 30 mm can be transported; and screen fixing means with respective one ends fixed to both lower side surfaces of the waste separation unit and the other ends disposed at predetermined intervals on a bottom surface of the screen for the separation unit to fix the screen for the separation unit at predetermined intervals so that the waste can be discharged downward without being stuck and the waste can be moved in one direction during the movement of the waste separation unit in one direction or in the other direction as the screen for the separation unit is overlapped and unfolded section by section.
