<p>The invention relates to a cross-flow fluid heat exchanger having a plurality of stacked metal sheets (1), one said metal sheet (1) comprising, starting from a mid-plane (9) on a first (7) face of the sheet: a plurality of ridges (2) that extend over the surface of the sheet above the mid-plane; a plurality of hollows (3) that extend over the surface of the sheet below the mid-plane, one hollow being disposed between at least three juxtaposed ridges (2); a plurality of pleats (4) in the sheet which are disposed in the zones of said sheet that are located between the tops (5) of the ridges (2) and the bottoms (6) of the hollows (3), on either side of the mid-plane (9), so as to create a pleated flow surface on the first (7) face for a first fluid; the tops (5) of the ridges (2) having a non-pleated surface so as to form smooth or substantially smooth zones for connecting said metal sheet (1) to an adjacent second metal sheet, disposed in each case in contact with the tops (5) of the ridges (2) on said metal sheet (1). The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a heat exchanger.</p> |
