PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct image forming operation in consideration of a difference between sensors for measuring a mark.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a rotating body; an image forming unit for forming a mark on the rotating body; a plurality of sensors for measuring the mark formed on the rotating body; and a control unit. The control unit includes: mark forming processing (S101) for controlling the image forming unit to form the mark on the rotating body; measurement processing (S101) for causing the sensors to measure the mark formed by the mark forming processing; weighted average processing (S104, S105) for applying weights different by sensor to the measurement values measured by the sensors, to calculate a weighted mean value; and correction processing (S106) for correcting the image forming operation of the image forming unit by use of the weighted mean value calculated by the weighted average processing. |
