PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a component supplying device, a tape in which an electronic component is stored (component supply tape) is conveyed by any conveyance means, the component is exposed, the component supply tape may be conveyed by fitting a sprocket to a feeding hole of the component supply tape, the present invention finds out that the sprocket is not always fitted to the feeding hole of the component supply tape, more specifically, the present invention finds out that such a phenomenon may occur in the case at least two or more sprockets are driven by drive means such as a motor, for example, the tape is not rightly conveyed without fitting the sprocket to the feeding hole, and it may exert any unwanted influence such as reduction of mounting efficiency upon component supply and subsequent component mounting but, in the prior arts, such a fact is not considered sufficiently.SOLUTION: As one characteristic of the present invention, backlash of an upstream-side sprocket is made greater than backlash of a downstream-side sprocket. |
