<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel anti-saccharification agent.SOLUTION: An anti-saccharification agent is obtained by separating and removing saccharides or a glycoside from safflower extract, and has a color valency based on a solid content of 100% in the extinction maximum (λmax) for 350-450 nm of 700 or more. A method for producing the anti-saccharification agent comprises contacting safflower petal extract to a macroporous aromatic series modified adsorbent B, adsorbing an anti-saccharification agent on the adsorbent B, separating an anti-saccharification agent from a passing liquid containing saccharides or a glycoside, and eluting the anti-saccharification agent adsorbed on the adsorbent B, and in the method, a color valency based on a solid content of 100% in the extinction maximum (λmax) for 350-450 nm is 700 or more.</p> |
