<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheets separator that enables plain paper and a card, in a paper feeding part for feeding the sheets to a downstream-side processing position, to be reliably separated by a separation mechanism fit for each of them and fed to the downstream side.SOLUTION: A paper loading tray is changed between first and second attitudes different in height by tray shift means. Thus, a separation mechanism is switched to a first separation mechanism suitable for separation of plain paper in the first attitude, and to a second separation mechanism suitable for separation of a card in the second attitude, concurrently with the change of the attitude of the paper loading tray.</p> |
