A valve assembly and a method for use, including a seat (70) with one or a plurality of grooves along a periphery of the seat (70), the seat (70) comprising a gasket (20) inserted within the one or a plurality of grooves, with a portion of the gasket (20) raised above an external surface of the seat (70), and a piston (60), having a first face configured to matchingly cover a portion of the seat and a second fact to matchingly cover a portion of the gasket (20), configured to apply pressure to the gasket (20) to cause expansion of the gasket (20) within the one or a plurality of grooves, forming a tight seal between the gasket (20) and the face of the piston (60). |
