<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a face image to accurately analyze an evaluation index of the whole face.SOLUTION: A face image analysis method includes steps of: separating a shape-standardized face image into a low-frequency component image excluding high frequency components and a high-frequency component image including the high frequency components; acquiring multidimensional base vectors to be obtained from multiple sample face images, and acquiring multiple weighting factors for the base vectors concerning a target face image through a principal component analysis to the low-frequency and high-frequency component images separated from the target face image included in the face image; and selecting multiple analysis target weighting factors in at least some analysis target base dimensions out of base dimensions owned by the base vectors, from the acquired weighting factors, and analyzing the target face image using the selected analysis target weighting factors for the target face image and a face image index equation calculated through a multiple regression analysis using the analysis target weighting factors and multiple index values concerning the sample face images.</p> |
