<p>The present invention relates to a structure of a transmission for an automobile, which can not only reduce the entire size of the transmission, and get a high output with the same bulk, but also widen a design range when configuring a speed ratio of the automobile, by using a plurality of external planetary gears and a plurality of brakes in the transmission. To this end, the transmission for an automobile according to the present invention comprises: a first section part for performing an engine start function, an automobile lamp start function, and an over drive function by receiving power from an engine; a second section part, provided at the side part of the first section part, for performing a speed control function and an engine start assist function to form a speed ratio according to a gear speed change; and a third section part, provided at the side part of the second section part, for performing a speed control function and an automobile forward and backward speeds control function to form a speed ratio according to a gear speed change by being mutually correlated with the second section part. The first section part comprises: a plurality of motors; a first external planetary gear including a plurality of planetary gears and a carrier; and a plurality of brakes. The second section part comprises: a second external planetary gear including a plurality of planetary gears and a carrier; and a plurality of brakes. The third section part comprises: a third external planetary gear including a plurality of planetary gears and a carrier; and a plurality of brakes.</p> |
