PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing member capable of washing a scram pipe without draining cooling water within a nuclear reactor pressure vessel in a state of attaching the closing member to a lower flange.SOLUTION: A closing member 11 is attached to a lower flange 9a of a control rod drive mechanism housing 9 that includes a pipe part 9b including a hollow space 9c in which a control rod drive mechanism 8 is stored; and the lower flange 9a connected to a lower end of the pipe part 9b and including a scram pore 10. The closing member 11 includes a closing member main body 11a, a drain pipe 62 communicating with the hollow space 9c of the pipe part 9b is connected to the closing member main body 11a, and a flushing pore 71 communicating with the scram pore 10 of the lower flange 9a is provided in the closing member main body 11a.
