The invention is directed to a method of using a cutting blade with specific features on a portable cutting device to cut various materials, including profiles formed of wood, ferrous metal, and/or non-ferrous metal, such as pipe or structural members, or other materials known to those skilled in the art. The method includes the step of providing a cutting blade, wherein the cutting blade includes at least one cutting tooth and the cutting tooth includes a positive rake face angle. The method also includes the steps of providing a portable cutting device, installing the cutting blade on the portable cutting device, and using the portable cutting device with the installed cutting blade to cut an object. |
