PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for transmitting view scalability in multi-view video coding.SOLUTION: An apparatus for transmitting a signal comprises an encoder 100 for encoding at least one image for at least one view corresponding to multi-view video content in a composite bit stream. The encoder performs signal transmission of at least one of a view direction and view level to support view scalability for the at least one view by using at least one of a message, a field, a flag, and a syntax element. |
