<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for treating molten metal. The apparatus for treating molten metal comprises a container for containing molten metal and a refractory ring included in the container to move vertically while floating by the molten metal. Therefore, the present invention can increase the life span of a refractory material by inhibiting base metal from adhering to the inside of the container in the process of treating the molten metal.</p> |
