<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer etc. capable of improving operation performance by a multi-core processor and achieving power saving effect, without altering an object program. <P>SOLUTION: On a processor 11, the following programs operate: an object program 23; a core allocation program 21 designating a core on which a thread of the object program is operable; and an operating system 22 comprising a thread generation function which generates a new thread corresponding to a request from the object program and a core affinity function which makes the new thread operate on the core designated as operable. By the execution of the core allocation program 21, a thread generation monitoring function 21a which detects a thread generation request when the object program issues it, and a core allocation setting function 21b which designates the core on which the detected new thread operates, are realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
