<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper structure of a vehicle, which can reliably transmit a side impact load of the vehicle to a reinforcing member from a center pillar. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle body is provided with a roof reinforcement 1 which is elongated over a vehicle width direction and which reinforces a roof attached to a vehicle body. The center pillar 2 and the reinforcing member 1, which are provided in the vehicle body, are connected together by means of a roof gusset 4. The roof reinforcement 1 and the roof gusset 4 are joined together by means of a plurality of bolts B1 and B2 in a plurality of locations away from one another in the vehicle width direction. Additionally, upside bead part 11 and downside bead part 41 for transferring the load between the roof reinforcement 1 and the roof gusset 4 when the side impact load is input into the vehicle body are formed between the first bolt B1 and second bolt B2 of the roof reinforcement 1 and the roof gusset 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
