<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software update device that reduces influence of update of software of a module on service that the module provides. <P>SOLUTION: The software update device according to the present invention includes load storage means of storing load transition data in which a predicted value of a load on the module is made to correspond to time; patch storage means of associatively storing update data to software controlling the module and a necessary time for applying the update data to the software; update estimation means of extracting a time zone in which a total value of the load is less than a threshold value continuously for the necessary time read out of the patch storage means from the load transition data, and allocating an execution schedule for update of the software to the extracted time zone; and update execution means of stopping a module as a target of update of software from providing service, and executing the update of the software according to the execution schedule. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
