PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed article which includes a thermal transfer image receiving sheet with a thermal transfer image formed thereon, with which change of printing density, color difference and so on of the thermal transfer image is suppressed even when stored at high temperature, which is excellent in releasability from a thermal transfer sheet in thermal transfer, and further with which occurrence of cracks on a surface of the printed article is suppressed even when the printed article is bent in a state in which the thermal transfer image of the printed article is covered with a protective layer.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer recording material is formed by combination of: a thermal transfer image receiving sheet comprising a receiving layer containing at least a binder resin arranged on a substrate sheet; and a protective layer transfer sheet comprising a thermal transfer resin layer arranged on the substrate. The binder resin in the receiving layer includes 50% or more of a polymer latex having a repeated structure of vinyl chloride and Tg of 60°C or higher based on a solid content ratio in the binder resin of the receiving layer, and the thermal transfer resin layer of the protective layer transfer sheet includes 50% or more of a resin having a repeated structure of vinyl chloride. |
