<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly execute shading correction of a rear face if main scanning resist values are different between the surface and the rear face of a manuscript.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: correction means for correcting uneven color in image data having an effective image area on which an output image is formed and a resist area, other than the effective image area, added to the effective image area; calculation means for calculating the resist area size on the basis of the resist value, that is, a reference value for correction; and deletion means for deleting a resist area corresponding to the calculated resist area size, from the image data after the correction.</p> |
