<p>The present invention provides a seismic-retrofitting structure for an opening by applying pretension to a steel frame using a wire rope, in which a rectangular frame is installed to the opening of the structure that is enclosed by both vertical posts and upper and lower slabs, in order to reduce the damage to the opening vulnerable to earthquake, such as a window or door of a reinforced building, in which the pretension is applied to the rectangular steel frame by the wire rope to integrally restrict the opening and the steel frame, in which the cross section of the opening and the steel frame integrated by the wire rope increases the strength, and in which the horizontal force created by the earthquake is effectively dispersed around the opening to retrofit the opening.</p> |
