PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping device which is capable of holding an article and changing a posture thereof by one uniaxial linear drive part, and which has a small size and a light weight and is inexpensive.SOLUTION: A gripping device includes: a uniaxial liner drive part 2 on which a pair of movers 2b, which are so driven as to be opened and closed in one axial direction with respect to a stem 2a; a pair of gripping parts 10, 10R which are respectively provided as to be rotatable around a shaft 10a provided in parallel to the axial direction and to be movable in a direction of the shaft with respect to the pair of movers; a rotation force generation mechanism part 8 which is so provided as to generate a driving force in a rotation direction from a driving force in the axial direction of the movers; and a rotation transmission mechanism part 11 which transmits a rotational force, which is generated by the rotation force generation mechanism part when the gripping parts grip an article 13, to the gripping parts. |
