<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking method having shorter processing time.SOLUTION: A caulking method of the present invention is for a current cutoff device 10 which includes: a reverse plate 13 consisting of a thin-plate elastic member and curved so that the central part becomes a convex shape; and a contact plate 11 formed into a thin-plate shape thicker than the reverse plate 13, having a thinned groove part 12 on the central part and provided in substantially parallel with the reverse plate 13 at the position where the reverse plate 13 and the groove part 12 contact with each other when housing pressure is within a prescribed pressure range, forms an electric conduction path by bringing the reverse plate 13 and the contact plate 11 into contact with each other, and cuts off the electric conduction path by separating the reverse plate 13 and the contact plate 11. The caulking method controls air inside the housing so that a movable part of the reverse plate 13 is pressurized in a pressing direction against one surface of the contact plate 11, and brings an elastic vibration absorption material 40 into contact with the other surface of the contact plate 11 to perform ultrasonic caulking processing on an edge part of the current cutoff device 10.</p> |
