<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plunger tip of a die cast machine and a cooling method of the plunger tip capable of improving the cooling efficiency of both of a front end surface and an outer circumferential surface.SOLUTION: A plunger tip of a die cast machine includes a front end member 11 containing a front end surface 11a which is directly brought into contact with molten metal in a plunger sleeve, an outer circumferential member 12 containing an outer circumferential surface 12a opposite to a plunger sleeve inner circumferential surface and a main body member 13 of which at least a part is included by the front end member 11 and the outer circumferential member 12, and is formed of a cooling medium channel including a first space 14 which is formed between the front end member 11 and the main body member 13 and allows a tip part 21 of a tip joint 20 to be inserted thereto, and a second space 15 which is formed between the outer circumferential member 12 and the main body member 13.</p> |
