According to the present invention, provided is a multi-step torque assist system for an automatic manual transmission, comprising: an input shaft including an inner shaft which is connected to the drive shaft of the engine and to which power is delivered at all times and an outer shaft which is capable of transmitting power by a clutch system and has one or more transmission shifts on the outer surface thereof; a hub interlocked to the outer surface of the inner shaft with the other end of the output shaft; a hydraulic system installed on one side of the hub; a drum arranged to accommodate the hub; a multi-layer clutch, wherein the inner clutch interlocked with the outside of the hub and the outer clutch interlocked with the inside of the drum are cross-linked to each other; an input torque assist helical gear set integral with the drum formed at least one pair; an output shaft, wherein one or more synchromesh and output gear are provided so as to couple with one pair of the input shaft; and an output torque assist helical gear set installed on any one of the output shaft interlocked with the input torque assist the helical gear set. To this end, the present invention has advantages such that the torque assist can be used in a wider gear shift range by connecting two or more input torque assist helical gear sets having different gear ratio to the drum. |
