PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package that enables an opening time and an elapsed period of time after opening to be known by starting communication of an attached IC tag from the opening time. ! SOLUTION: A package comprises a packing box 1 that has an IC tag 3 provided on an inner surface of an opening part 2, a storage article 4 that is housed in the packing box, and a cushioning material 5 in which paper 52 configured by sticking metal foil 51 is cylindrically wound in such a manner that the metal foil is positioned on the outside. The cushioning material 5 is placed between the storage article and the opening part.
