The present invention relates to a composition for reducing a body fat wherein the composition contains a chungtaejeon extract as an active ingredient based on a verification result on the anti-obesity effect of the chungtaejeon extract. Chungtaejeon literally means a blue moss and is a type of a green tea. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the chungtaejoen extract has excellent anti-obesity and weight loss effects and shows an excellent effect of suppressing obesity. Accordingly, the composition of the present invention can be usefully used as an obesity treatment agent by replacing a conventional material.
