The present invention relates to co-crystals of duloxetine and co-crystal formers selected from COX-INHIBITORS, processes for preparation of the same and their uses as medicaments or in pharmaceutical formulations, more particularly for the treatment of pain.

A co-crystal comprising duloxetine either as a free base or as its physiologically acceptable salt and naproxen as a co-crystal former, wherein the duloxetine either as a free base or as its physiologically acceptable salt and the naproxen are held together by weak interaction; wherein the weak interaction is selected from hydrogen bonds, van der Waals forces and π-π interactions; wherein the naproxen is (S)-naproxen; and wherein the molecular ratio between duloxetine and (S)-naproxen is 2:3.
