<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror stay capable of suppressing vibrations of a mirror during vehicle traveling, facilitating dimensions management, and making an installing portion on a vehicle body side compact.SOLUTION: A passenger seat side mirror stay 3 has a first rod portion 4 having a base end portion 4a supported by a vehicle width direction end portion at a front end of a vehicle 1; and a second rod portion 7 having a mirror supporting portion 7b supporting a mirror, and continuing from the tip end portion 4b of the first rod portion 4 through a continuing portion 6. The continuing portion 6 expands the diameter from the second rod portion 7 toward the first rod portion 4. An outer diameter of the first rod portion 4 is larger than the outer diameter of the second rod portion 7, and the peripheral wall of the first rod portion 4 is thinner than the peripheral wall of the second rod portion 7. The size of the outer diameter and the thickness of the peripheral wall of the first rod portion 4 are generally even along the longitudinal direction of the first rod portion 4. The whole area extending in a vertical direction of the mirror stay 3 is formed by the second rod portion 7.</p> |
