<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a participating node device to receive stream data from a suitable parent node device in a video distribution system which performs stream distribution by P2P.SOLUTION: In a video distribution system which provides a stream distribution service to a node device, the node device comprises: a measuring unit which measures a first response time representing a round-trip delay time between the node device and a first node device which is a stream data transmission source; a confirmation request generating unit which transmits a confirmation request confirming whether stream data can be distributed to node devices in a predetermined range; and a transmission unit which transmits a stream distribution request to a second node device which returned a confirmation response corresponding to the confirmation request first during the period from when the confirmation request generating unit transmits the confirmation request to when the first response time elapses.</p> |
