<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of preventing a socket pipe part and a spigot pipe part from being disengaged from each other, even in the case of application of a force caused by an earthquake, differential settlement and the like or an external force of a vibration load and the like.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 makes a socket pipe part 2 of a fluid pipe part and a spigot pipe part 3 of the fluid pipe part connected in a sealed state by inserting the spigot pipe part 3 into the socket pipe part 2. The pipe joint 1 has a locking member 6 capable of being engaged with an engagement part 3b. When the locking member 6 and a push ring 5 abut one each other because a force acts in the direction of disengaging the socket pipe part 2 and the spigot pipe part 3 from each other, a force directed in a diameter reduction direction is imparted to the locking member 6.</p> |
