<p>A trench drainage channel support (10) comprises a two-part bridge member (14) for insertion through opposing side walls (80) of a trench drainage channel (12) below a grating (50), a support element (16) which extends from each bridge member part (22, 24), and an engagement element (18) which engages a ground support member (20). Due to the bridge member (14) extending through the side walls (80) of the drainage channel (12), a thinner walled drainage channel (12) can be utilised, in this case preferably being of pressed metal. The bridge member (14) thus prevents or limits outward splaying of the opposing channel walls, as well as supporting the drainage channel (12).</p> |
