<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for cutting a sample tube for a soil specimen, and more specifically, to an apparatus for cutting a sample tube for a soil specimen, which cuts one side surface of an upper part of a sample tube and cuts out the other side surface of the sample tube to achieve simple division of the sample tube to easily observe a section of a soil specimen without scattering, the soil specimen being selected into the interior of the sample tube through a drilling work to examine a sectional state of a deposit such as sand, clay, gravel or the like. The apparatus for cutting a sample tube comprises: a supporting plate (20) mounted on a frame (10); a sample tube cutting pipe (40) supported by a support bolt (30) fixated to the support plate (20) and having a rotating blade inserting opening (41) formed on an upper surface thereof; a rotating blade (50) inserted into the rotating blade inserting hole (41); and a motor (70) connected to a belt (60) to transfer power to the rotating blade (50). The rotating blade (50) is inserted into the rotating blade inserting opening (41) formed on the upper side of the sample tube cutting pipe (40) and cuts one side surface (81) of the upper part of the sample tube (80) inserted into the sample tube cutting pipe (40) and simultaneously cuts out the other side surface (82) to be 1/2 of a thickness of the sample tube (80), the other side surface (82) being opposite to the one side surface.</p> |
