<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which, during production and processing steps and storage of the resin composition, shows little vaporization of an isocyanate compound, and which maintains weight and shape of resin for a certain period in hot water of a temperature higher than 135°C and, thereafter, decomposes rapidly.SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises: a reaction product of a resin (A component) with self-catalytic activity containing a water-soluble monomer as a main component and a gas generation depressant (C component); and a hydrolysis regulator (B component); and satisfies any of the following A1 to A3. A1: in a hot water of any temperature between 135°C to 160°C, an amount of acidic groups derived from the resin composition is 30 equivalents/ton or less and weight of the resin composition not dissolved in water is 50% or more after 3 hours, and the weight of the resin composition not dissolved in water is 50% or less after 24 hours. A2: in a hot water of any temperature between 160°C to 180°C, an amount of acidic groups derived from the resin composition is 30 equivalents/ton or less and weight of the resin composition not dissolved in water is 50% or more after 2 hours, and the weight of the resin composition not dissolved in water is 50% or less after 24 hours. A3: in a hot water of any temperature between 180°C to 220°C, an amount of acidic groups derived from the resin composition is 30 equivalents/ton or less and weight of the resin composition not dissolved in water is 50% or more after 1 hour, and the weight of the resin composition not dissolved in water is 50% or less after 24 hours.</p> |
