<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling an alarm. According to the present invention, an apparatus comprises: a first alarm unit outputting an alarm to guide a position of a vehicle; a second alarm unit outputting an alarm to guide opening operation with respect to a tailgate of the vehicle in advance; a searching unit searching for a portable device placed within a predetermined range from the tailgate; and a control unit controlling an alarm output of the first alarm unit in accordance with a request of at least one portable device and controlling an alarm output of a second alarm unit in accordance with a status of the alarm output of the first alarm unit in case a portable device is searched. The control unit enables the second alarm unit to be a standby status until the alarm output of the first alarm unit is finished in case a portable device is searched by the searching unit while the first alarm unit outputs an alarm.</p> |
