Provided are an amplitude shift keying (ASK) demodulator and a communications apparatus including the demodulator. The ASK demodulator of the present invention comprises: an envelope detector for detecting an envelope of a modulation signal (AMS) to generate an envelope signal; a clock generator for generating a main clock signal (MCLK) and a first or n^th clock signals; a plurality of elementary demodulators (two or more) for respectively sampling the envelope signal by using first and second sampling clock signals, and outputting elementary demodulation signals based on the difference between the sampled envelope signals; and a post signal processor for generating a final demodulation signal by using any one among the elementary demodulation signals.
