<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog electronic timepiece in which pointers can be fast forwarded with no time loss while suppressing power consumption by means of a plurality of drive voltages. <P>SOLUTION: An analog electronic timepiece comprises a plurality of pointers, drive means which drives the pointers, drive control means which outputs an operation signal to the drive means, and fast forward setting means which determines a direction of fast forwarding of a pointer on the basis of a fast forwarding speed preset for each fast forwarding direction and for each pointer when fast forwarding the pointer. Regarding the operation signal, a drive voltage is preset for each pointer in accordance with a moving direction of the pointer. When moving a plurality of pointers by fast forwarding, the drive control means outputs operation signals for driving the plurality of pointers of the equal drive voltage at respective fast forwarding speeds, and the fast forwarding setting means changes the drive voltages by inverting the fast forwarding directions of partial pointers. Therefore, when shortening the fast forwarding time required for moving all the pointers to be fast forwarded to fast forwarding movement destinations, the fast forwarding directions of partial pointers are inverted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
